Sea State uses your mobile devices accelerometer and gyroscope data to obtain estimates of current sea state (wave height and wave period) experienced by a boat.
Note that you need to have at least an iPhone 4, iPad 2 or iPod Touch 4th generation device, as these are the devices that have 3-axis gyroscopes in addition to accelerometer support.
